We Are Committed to Your Privacy

Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.

Sharing of Information

CreditChimp does not under any circumstances share, sell, rent, or in any other way provide your information to anyone for any use whatsoever.

Security of Information

CreditChimp operates secure data networks protected by industry-standard firewall and encryption protection systems. Our security practices and privacy policy are periodically reviewed and updated as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.

Information CreditChimp Gathers and Tracks

CreditChimp gathers two types of information about users:

  • Information that users provide on our website. This information is gathered on our Enrollment (Sign Up) Form, our Free Consultation Form, and on our Customer Account Interface (Sky Blue Portal) and includes name, address, contact information, Social Security Number, date of birth, and billing information.
  • Information CreditChimp gathers through usage tracking which records page views throughout our site. This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers’ needs and to help us better understand the demographics of our audience.

Usage Tracking

CreditChimp tracks traffic patterns and overall site usage statistics using data gathered from browser strings (information contained in every user’s browser) and IP addresses, but this data is never associated with individual users. CreditChimp also tracks search terms that users enter in public search engines.

Cookies

We may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie does not contain Personal Information. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. CreditChimp uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you’ve set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site.

Your Consent

By using this site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by CreditChimp. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Public Safety and Legal Process

We will not share information about individual users with any third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.
